The 50’s

CISA Exportadora is founded in 1952 by Mr. Duilio Baltodano Pallais (3rd generation coffee tradition).

The 60’s & 70’s

CISA Exportadora becomes a Nicaraguan leader in green coffee exports.

The 80’s

The Nicaraguan government nationalizes the coffee industry.

The 90’s to the Present

Nicaragua re-adopts an open market economic model. CISA Exportadora re-establishes a leadership role in the commercialization of green coffee exports.
